What this site is

A reference built from United States government statistics, plus a tool that shows you how automated screening is likely to read a résumé. It is information, not advice, and not a guarantee of any outcome in a hiring process.

What we do not promise

We make no claim that using this site will get you an interview, an offer or a raise. We do not place candidates, contact employers on your behalf, or pass your details to anyone. Any service in this category promising a hiring outcome should be treated with suspicion; that is not what this is.

Accuracy

Figures are reproduced from their published sources and recalculated only where the method is written out on our methodology page. Sources revise their own data, and statistical agencies suppress figures that would identify an employer — where that happens the site says so rather than filling the gap. Check anything that matters against the original, which is linked on every page.

Employer figures

Wages attributed to named companies come from certified filings with the US Department of Labor for sponsored roles. They are not company-wide averages and not an indication of what any particular person earns.

Career Radar

Billed monthly or annually through Stripe at the price shown before you pay. Cancel any time in one click from your account; access continues to the end of the period already paid for and no further charge is made. There is no trial that converts into a subscription.

Acceptable use

Read it, quote it, cite it. Do not scrape it wholesale or resell the compiled data as your own — the underlying government sources are free to everyone and better taken from the source.
